PCS will be there
Members of the Pyrolysis Carbon Solutions team will be at the UK Biochar x Hemp Festival at Caebardd Farm, Mid Wales, on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 August 2026.
If you are attending, come and speak to us about engineered biochar, particle sizing, processing, carbon-and-mineral blends, product formulation and routes into soil, planting, turf, filtration and bespoke technical applications.
Technology and evidence in one place
The festival brings the practical biochar community together on a working farm. The programme includes live batch and continuous biochar systems, the Woodtek C1000 plant, hemp harvesting and swathing, field walks, biochar-amended soils and water-filtration applications.
It is a useful opportunity to move beyond broad claims and look directly at the equipment, materials, operating experience and results in the ground.
- Live biochar production
- Commercial and farm-scale systems
- Hemp field trials and swathing
- Soil, tree and water applications
From production to application
For PCS, the event sits directly between how biochar is produced and how it is made useful. A carbon material does not become application-ready through production alone: feedstock, process conditions, moisture, density, particle size, grading, formulation and delivery method all matter.
We are looking forward to discussing the practical requirements behind new products and projects—and to meeting potential collaborators who want to develop, test or scale a clearly specified carbon solution.
Plan your visit
Day one, Wednesday 19 August, focuses on biochar. Day two, Thursday 20 August, focuses on hemp. Doors open at 09:00 on both days at Caebardd Farm, Guilsfield, Welshpool, Mid Wales, SY21 9DJ.
The programme includes talks, demonstrations, farm walks and an informal evening social on the first night. Tickets and the latest event information are available from the official festival website.
